How do we thank an ever merciful God who continues to astound us with marvellous things we do not merit? Alleluia! shall be our song.
The Beacon International Magazine turned ten in January. How time flies. The celebrations were held on the 26th January, 2011 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Dansoman, Accra.
From humble beginnings, the Lord has brought us this far. May His name be praised forever.
We are grateful to God for helping us build a media group from absolutely nothing!
Welcome to this Lenten issue of The Beacon International Catholic Magazine. Have you really thought of The Difference Between Fasting and Abstinence? Do we listen when God Speaks? What is the Christian Tradition? You will find answers to all these questions as well as many other articles we have for your enjoyment in this issue.
We call on all parishes and societies to continue to avail themselves the opportunity of sending their news and events for publishing on the website as well as being listed on the directory database. We have spotlights on parishes regularly and details of required information could be provided if you contact us.
We continue our appeal to readers to support us in keeping this project going. We hope that we will receive more support from you in the coming year.
This could be through placement of your advertisements, subscription to our newsletter and posting our links on your websites or blog sites or by your donations.
All these go a long way in helping us cope with this great task. It also assists us to increase the number of copies we are able to give out.
TimeOut newsletter continues to be delivered FREE every fortnight to the email boxes of subscribers since Monday, 8th February, 2010.
